What’s the currency?

China uses the Renminbi or RMB, sometimes also called locally Yuan.
If you’re traveling through Hong King they use the Hong Kong Dollar
Indonesia use the Rupiah
In India the currency is the Rupee.

Each team may have different payment practices however it’s a good assumption to make that exchanging your home currency for that of the country where your team is may not be easy to do while on team. Investigate how to exchange your currency and bring enough cash in local currency to cover your anticipated expenses. Credit cards may not be accepted and bank ATM cards may also not be easily used.
