Clowning around

In Indonesia we have a group of young adults whom we’ve been helping by building the House of Hope. This is safe housing for young people who have come from outlying islands in an area known as NTT.

These young people came with little or no education. But through hard work most have now achieved their education. Our vision is to take more young people in to the home however we need to complete the top floor extension to do that.

What’s exciting is that this group, often defined by their generation, is really not following the trend. They are givers and doers, not talkers and takers. For instance, weekly they are either meeting with children living in a local slum area to give them a time of games, crafts and teaching or heading to the local children’s cancer ward in the hospital. There they are bringing a ray of sunshine into the kid’s lives and also some relief to parents who see their children enjoying some time in their difficult week. They are sharing impacting, unconditional and unquestioning love.

We need funds to support these terrific young people and the programs they are serving in. Will you help?

Helping kids re-write life stories and turn around futures

Safe water bores are currently being installed in 1 village per month.

That keeps between 1300 and 2000 children and family members safe.

We would love to do more.
