Brighten a Child's Day – Send Your Sponsored Child a Message
- Share about your family, hobbies, sports
- Include words of encouragement
- Keep it short & simple; this makes it much easier for our translators
- Please only write a maximum of once every four months to help our translation team keep up
- We aim to provide you with at least one letter per year.
- Encourage your child to write back
Children like writing back to their sponsors too!
Sponsors are encouraged to write letters to their sponsored children. This is a great way to keep in touch and build respectful friendships with your child. The thought of having someone remember them brings great joy and hope. It lets them know that somebody loves and cares for them and that they are valued and special. This will impact and hopefully inspire your child.
You can send our office a printed letter. Once translated our inland team will deliver your letter to your child when they make regular visits.
There are two ways you can send a letter to your sponsored child;

Many of our children live in areas where postal services are limited or non-existent, our T Team translates letters, then in-country co-workers personally deliver the next time they visit the child’s home.
