You are the answer to someone’s prayer
Hi,
Thanks for reading our special mid-year or end-of-financial-year appeal.
Each day, through your compassion and generosity, love is being poured out in villages, homes, and the hearts of children who once had no hope. Children across India, Sumatra, Bali and China.
Thanks to you, a little girl named Jesin received emergency medical care when she badly injured her leg. Her family had no means to help her, but the H4K’s community stepped in—her healing came through your love in action.
You helped bring clean, safe water to Rudra’s village. Out of desperation, he prayed for water for his people. When no one else would help, the H4K’s community gave, and it became his answer. Today, children in that village no longer drink from dirty streams—they drink from a well of grace you helped provide.
These stories are not rare. They are multiplying in 5 Child Development Centres, 3 Kids Clubs, and children’s homes where Heart for Kids is serving. In slums where children live in tents and beg in the streets, a school is rising because you chose to care. Soon, they will sit in a tent classroom—not gutters—receiving an education and hearing about hope, and their worth.
One lady wrote saying…“Our family lived in a poor village, and I never attended school. My father passed away when I was nine. To help, I worked as a housemaid in the village. Later, I married a man who struggled with addiction and was abusive, neglecting our family & often leaving us without food. We have three children, and finding work in our village was very hard.
She went on to say… “A neighbour told me about a tailoring school. Thankfully, I was accepted and spent six months learning to sew women’s and children’s clothing, mastering various designs with the guidance of a supportive teacher.
During this time, my faith grew and my life was transformed.
Now, I plan to start my own tailoring business to provide for my children and family. Thank you for this life-changing opportunity.”
What a wonderful testimony, but there is more to do.

In the last couple of years, together we went from supporting 2 Child Development Centres to 5 – this is just a small picture of how the needs are growing. Many still wait:
Children need healing and education.
Mothers long to be trained and equipped to provide for their families.
Villagers cry out for clean water.
Communities need love in word and deed.
Through this mid-year or End of Financial Year appeal, we are prayerfully seeking to raise:
- $40,000 for Child Development, Education, Housing and Care
- $33,600 for Safe Water Projects, keeping families healthy
- $17,000 to Equip and Train Women so they can care for their children
The numbers may seem big, but we have a big faith, and are thankful for generous people like you. Our community’s heart beats for justice, and we deeply care about the oppression faced by people around the world.
Will you be the Good Samaritan to a child, a mother, or a village that no one else will stop for?
Together, we can bring love and compassion. But we need your help and participation ASAP. And of course, with the end of the financial year coming, many people choose to make their help even more effective at this time.
