Families can't afford food

COVID food aid

Food care for children following COVID-19 remains a huge problem.

Words can’t express the pain and suffering felt in communities in India and Indonesia as they face the ongoing impact of COVID

We’ve all seen dramatic images through the pandemic but the reality is that families are still short of food. Children have lost parents and families have lost their main breadwinners.

Our food care is ongoing in India and Indonesia as we continue to make sure children have food in their family pantry.

Our food care focus is changing

With the change in needs and circumstances moving from pandemic to almost post pandemic care we are changing our emphasis to the ongoing support for families. With little food in their houses we are providing food care for children and we continue to reach out through our children’s programs to those in need and distress to make sure they have enough food.

Food Distribution Centers scale to meet peoples needs

We provided food parcels through 6 COVID food distribution centers in India at the peak. In Indonesia we delivered food to villages as people could not move around. We have scaled back the centers in India but the delivery system still operates in Indonesia.

But we can’t offer food care without help. Will you donate now to our ongoing food drive.

Food aid in Indonesia

$20 is needed for each food parcel given to a child and their family. Each week we hope to give 300 to 500 food parcels to local families in the villages we serve in. We are serving the children in these communities in various ways but care for them through much-needed food relief is rare.

Safe water bores are currently being installed in 1 village per month.

That keeps between 1300 and 2000 children and family members safe.

We would love to do more.
